My friend bought a kart last week and we got everything frame was ready to run but the starter nut on the engine is tore up by the previous owner as seen in this picture (https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=AA7F0B932D26F64D!518&authkey=!APHme79fat42kJg)
Now the engine has spark and compression.so we just want to attach a nut to it and try to start with a drill but when we hand tighten down the nut it seems to grab the clutch bell and keep it going the crankshaft and the starter nut does the same thing to it.
Does anyone maybe know how to stop that from happening?Is there suppose to be a washer maybe?
