what's up, does anyone knows the kohler K161 engine??

yes, its a single cyl, are those enige too heavy for go kart?? can u use one of those??

They can be used on a go kart. They're good engines with some nice aftermarket goodies for it.

ok , i got one and it has been sitting for a long time, hat should i do now to get it running, take it apart and check it first?? any suggestion??

Clean the carb. There heavy, but they'll last forever if you change the oil.

I checked everything but I got no spark...

clean points, replace if there REALLY bad.

clean the points maybe you just need a new spark though.

thnx for the help guys, i was thinking that maybe there is a kill wire or something that is causing no spark..

most likely the points if its been sitting for a while. Try a new sparkplug first though.

Clean the points, new spark and maybe clean the coil and magnets on flywheel

i think it has to do with the condenser

Did you clean the coil, pionts, new sparkplug, wires and ground?

its like the electricity is too weak to make the spark plug spark, something like that, hope you understand what i mean

Yea I know do you have the right armature gap? If so then yes it could be the condenser I'll look up a way for you to test it since I forgot..
