What’s up guys . I recently purchased a go cart frame and have 7hp kohler command to go on it. Then I purchased a torque converter to put on it but I think the bolts to attach to motor are too big. Can I just go to a local hardware store to get the right size or so I have to special order?

Hardware store should have them, 5/16- 24 (fine thread) is what your after.

The kits typically ship with the wrong bolts, m8x1.25

Never force the bolts in, should hand thread!
Awesome! I appreciate the info. I knew they had to be wrong size when they wouldn’t hand thread. I didn’t try to force. I’ll check out hardware store later today!
