Killswitch

I was looking at this killswitch:

and I was wondering if it is a dead man switch or you just press it to stop the engine.

That would appear to be a SPST momentary pushbutton. I never advise using a momentary button, as you have to keep holding it until the engine completey stops, or it will restart again. In a panic situation, that could be a major problem.

Get yourself an SPST on/off toggle style switch, or latching pushbutton.

All you need is a switch like this:

and take the wire coming from the coil that connects to the block and reroute it to the switch then back to the block.
