right. never thought of that one.
i think you got that backwards, when you flip open the red case, and flip the switch forward it turns it on, completing the circuit between the magneto and spark plug, then you simply nudge the red cover back a bit it springs shut and turns the switch off, that causes the spark plug to no longer receive electricity from he magneto. anyway its still not the best idea for an emergency kill switch, but it would be fun!
or, a possible solution- get one of those evil layer type switches, something new. (muahahahaha)

Nope. Flipping the switch on shorts out the magneto.
i guesse it can be setup that way(prob is lol) i have never seen that though, oh well you learn something new every day!
you know those old retro 4 strokes kill switch was pressing down a grounded metal flap onto the tip of the sparkplug.
i had to either choke it or pull the spark plug wire off, and usually got shocked.
