I have a toggle already built in under my steering wheel and I want to install a kill switch. Someone mentioned that I can install it to the on-off switch but I don't know if I should splice into top or bottom wire. I was told that one would give A BIG shock so would like to "pick" the right one... also what kind of wire should I buy??

Thanks In Advance for any help!!

I agree with suburban, but if you have a toggle switch It'll probably have 2 wire conection termanals.
If so, you'll just need to run a ground to either of the toggle switches termanals, and then conect the other to your engines kill switch wire.

The toggle will funtion no mater what orentation these 2 wires are conected, and the switch should be fully insulated so you wont get shocked. (just electrical-tape up the back side of the switch/wire conections so you cant acsedentaly touch any of the exsposed engine wire)

What about the wireless kill switch I've seen online? (and of course on ebay.) For my fearless younger (7) grandson, I fear even a governed engine will get away from him, so this sounds like a great idea. Has anyone installed one of these?
