So I searched and read a bunch of posts about disconnecting the low oil sensor on clones and connecting a secondary switch, but I have a different question.

One of the previous owners has a wire coming from the on/off switch on the engine. The kill switch that is on the steering wheel is shot - won't toggle and one of the leads is broken off. Before I get a new toggle switch, can any tell me if that set up is likely to work?

I can post pics once I get home. If necessary.

Thanks!

It really is a "no brainer"; once you've determined which way the switch works, connect the wire from the factory switch to the positive side of the toggle switch, then a wire from the negative side to ground...

Right you are - $3.95 later and we are good to go, or stop.

Much more comfortable now that the kill switch functional.

Thanks again!
