Speaking of things that other countries don't have, my wife got covered in poison ivy, then had to fly the next day to Germany. She went to the pharmacist to get some calamine lotion, or something to soothe it. She tried to explain that a plant had caused these terrible blisters, called "Poison Ivy". The Germans looked at her like she was insane apparently, and asked, "why would you have such a bad plant in your country???"

I don't know the answer to that!

Good thing it wasn't me....because without missing a beat.....I would have said: "to keep Germans out!"

Nah I don't have any connection to the "old country", all our Germans came to Texas in the late 1800s. It was a work trip for her. I can completely imagine a German pharmacist, looking at her in horror when describing this common plant though. heeheeee.

Now off to kill some wasps. I got buzzed when I was on my crutches the other day, and now that I am off of them and I'm jazzed about eradicating those jerks, it's game-on!

I have been off crutches for 2 days. I bruised it 25 days ago!!! Not 100% but at least back to moving around a little more normally.

Just like her dad lol. Last year during New Years we (my little bro and I) got Roman candles and had a duel. I wear air tight safety goggles though. Only caught a few sparks in my coat and melted it a little bit.
