Here's the start to finish. 11/15/16 - 12/24/16. The kids are so happy with it as am I. Going to get a little bit bigger tires later but overall satisfied.

Nice Kart.
You will need new tires soon. Those Harbor Freight tires are unsafe.
I do not mean to insult your work it is just a safety thing. Specially for the kids.

Whoa good catch. i was going to ask if HF tires as they look familiar to me

Betters27 check my kart thread and see how my tires ended after only 30 minutes of driving around the block! They will not last. and i would not use them where kids are involved. it's one thing to risk your own life like i did. but your kids!!!

Someone warned me about the Harbor Freight wheels (maybe Chancer or "that other guy"). They were right! It was a catastrophic failure of the front right wheel, resulting in a wreck.

I am not going to say I told you so.
I hope everyone was ok. Those things are just not worth it.

See guys it is not just the Rubber the wheels themselves break and fail.

It was the cheap, super thin, weld around the hub piece. It was just me on the Kart, and I only hurt my pride.

I am liking that metallic green on the Hulk Kart. I think you need another kart--one kart per child and the fun quotient will be enhanced.

The tires aren't even made of real rubber--they're some kind of greasy vinyl or PVC.

I bought Horror Fright's 180 pc Grommet Assortment and was disappointed they were PVC. But hey now, real rubber is premium material, luxury and big bucks! Spare no expense for real rubber!

Thanks guys for the info on the tires. I knew they were not a good decision but had to put something on there to be finished in time for Christmas morning. I have already ordered more wheels and tires. also extra bearings, I heard that the bearings go out quite often so wanted some extra ones. I am going to build 3 more karts. 2 for the kids and 1 more for the adults.
