Not sure on the spark. I'll check today if I can get out there. I think it is just buildup from it sitting for while. I got it used and I'm sure it wasn't stored properly, so there is probably a dirty carb or something. I picked some seafoam up last night that I'm going to use to see if it cleans up the idle. When I first got it I ran some lucas cleaner in the fuel, changed the oil and put a new spark plug in it and just that little bit made a significant improvement. Hopefully it just a dirty carb needing some tlc.

Well I used the seafoam last night. Ran it warm, and got a spray bottle and took the intake filter off and when I heard the engine fire i'd spray it in the it would rev real high for a second and then come back down. Did that for a bit and then took the spark plug out and dumped a teaspoon or so into the cylinder. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so and put the spark plug back in which I forgot to check the color of the spark. But cranked it up and watched the smoke show. I added a bit to the gas tank as well. But it still has the idle problem. Weird thing though is that it will sometimes kick into higher rpm's and smooth the idle out then for some reason back's down to barely idle.

It's not so much a rough idle but more it barely seems to fire hard enough to make the piston go through all 4 compression phases to fire again.

I checked the spark color. It was white it looked like after I gave a a strong pull. The spark however was fairly weak looking if it wasn't going fast. So maybe when the engine is idle is has a less than Ideal spark?
