keeps cuting out

i have a little gokart with a 2.5 briggs flat head on it. starting it is a bit interesting.

it will be choked and it will start, then i unchoke it and it dies. a few more trys and a couple of swear words later and it will be running just fine, however the second i give it any gas it dies.

i'm pretty sure its a mixture problem but im not positive. any thoughts?

Richen mixture if adjustable.
If not adjustable run through some injector cleaner.

yea as russ said, on the carb there should be a little screw on it (mixture), adjust the screw.
