Hi, im a bit of a newb to posting things online. But here goes, this is my kart, its taken around a year to build and still ongoing. It has a kawasaki gpz 500cc twin cylinder engine. 6 gears, handmade frame and no brakes as yet.. Added fuel pump/ resivour above the carbs. It had a turbo on from a past experiment so i will try and dig out the pictures. Any questions/ suggestions?

Hi all.

This Kart was stolen from my garage last week. It wasn't running at the time due to electrical problems. So they are probably wondering how to repair it. If there are any enquiries about this go kart please let me know. 3 years building it and I only got to drive it twice..! The chances of it showing up are very slim. But any help is appreciated.

Many thanks, Ben.

You will find this Kart. Thieves talk and want to make money. They will try to sell it or part it out. Check Craigslist and ebay non stop for the next 6 months looking for your parts.

Go to this site and post in stolen section. It is a huge karting site.

Called the police the day I found it had gone. (I called my brothers first thinking it was a practical joke) GUTTED.. But after a few follow up calls it doesn't look promising getting it back through the police finding it. I have been contacting bike/ kart shops all week asking them to look out for it. I will check out craigslist and 4cycle too.

Thanks.

Hey benjamin,

after you posted in my thread I was looking at your kart and re-read that you basically used the same engine I'm putting in my kart lol!

Can I ask what radiator you used? I'm not sure which one to use on mine as I could do with something tall and slim that still has the capability for a fan on it too

Hi,

It was the original radiator off the GPZ I think.. It wasn't a great fit because of the width of it. (it looked plain odd sat flat towards the front of the kart)

On the new kart I am using twin radiators off a crf250R should look great mounted either side of the seat! (only cost £45 too) I am fabricating the brackets for two small fans on each radiator to kick in when the kart is sat still/ overheating.

Ben.

I've been looking at those tanks myself, I'm thinking I'll go/get my brother to go to our bike breaker friend and see what he has that'll fit.

Thats a good price though, and you're right it should look great.
