Kasea any good?

Locally on CL there are 2 Kasea 125cc go karts for sale. $500 for the both of them, together. One needs a carb, and the other two front tires.

Are Kasea karts any good and is it worth it? They look pretty sweet.

Never heard of them. http://www.kaseaparts.com/125cc-buggy-engine-carburetor-c-254_263.html The new carb would be a bit pricey. I think you could find a more generic one for cheaper.

It appears those have the 125cc Honda GY6 Honda clone engine. Very good design on the engines. http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4779&highlight=Honda+clone There is an thread there talking about those engines. Offer $400-450 see what happens.

Ya I noticed that the parts were a little pricey. It says they're 125cc but i've only seen 150cc Adventure buggies (which it looks like)

I figured if it is indeed the GY6 it's pretty upgradeable and parts can be had from other companies for a lot cheaper.

Even just for the frames I think it'd be cool to have a full suspension one.

my friend had a 90cc 2-stroke Kasea quad. It is about the same as the other Chinese quads, not a Honda, but cheap. The early 2000's Polaris 90cc quads are rebadged Kaseas.

The CL listing seems a bit too good to be true.

I also have a kasea 90cc 2 stroke. I put on a big bore, lightweight piston, cams, exhaust system, and some more, so if these karts are the same kasea brand, they are readily upgraded.

I thought that 2-strokes did not have cams? My firends 2-stroke was pretty fast.

UMM i think he screwed up im pretty sure he ment 4 stroke but some 2 stroke use valves like a four stroke.

There are power valves on some modern 2 strokes... thats the only thing that could be considered a valve on a 2 stroke.

i typed in two stroke with valves thats what i got.

also if im not mistaken most of the old 2 stroke desils had em. i would need to talk to my freind steve hes the one that said some two strokes got valves
