Hello everyone, I'm Jason. I'm from Portsmouth, VA. My wife got me this Kart for my birthday(see attached). Now I have not had a Kart since I was about 10, I'm 40 now.
I took the Kart for a spin around the neighborhood a few days ago. It was fun, but being a bigger guy (260 lbs) the motor was struggling with me on it. I did a bit of YouTube surfing & found that the Honda GX390 (which I happen to have from an old pressure washer) is a pretty good place to start.
I also have plans for bigger tires, a full cage, and if possible an electric start & lights. I'm new to kart building so any advice or guidance you all can provide would be greatly appreciated.
