Kart Sprocket ratios, help please?

Hey guys, I am currently building a shifter Kart. How do i work out how big my rear sprocket needs to be, or what have you guys used? Cheers

What you have to do is give us some more info. Are you going to be riding on/offroad. What size tyres are you going to be using. What clutch are you thinking about using. How much is your kart going to weigh? How much do you weigh?
