Kart Restoration / Upgrade

got this kart of my m8 for freee :biggrin5: as it was sat behind his shed covered in brambles and everything for the past 16 years so i managed to drag it out and clean all the sh*t of it

my mates dad then also told me he had done a few things to it e.g made closer pedals for kids, changed engine to honda c70 enigne, fitted a gear stick.

i then dragged it home on a trolley and took the old engine out the exhuast had rotted, most of the paint was flaking of, so needs a clean up / repaint all new bearings and a new engine which i am goin to use a 125cc pitbike engine i will post pics up soon

spent about an hour on this removing all the old paint and chrome then painting them

Hey you did good, thats a genuine race kart frame you got there. Are you gonna cut that kiddie pedal mount off?

and yes that kiddie pedal mount had gone and just finishing removing the rest of the powdercoat on the frame tomorow then trying 2 fit the brake and clutch pedal
