Anyone ever relocate the peddles on your Kart? I recently picked up a Kandi 110 for the grandkids and I think they are going to be a little short in the seat to reach the peddles. It might be easier to make the seat slide a little farther forward, but I'm afraid that it will put them too close to the steering wheel.

I'm thinking that I will just make a duplicate mounting bar and make some tabs a little closer to the seat to mount it to. That way I can just put them back to the original location in a year or two.

I've see where people attach wooden or composite blocks to the pedals temporarily until the kids get bigger, then you can remove them. Do you think that could be an option?

What about something like these? https://www.amazon.com/Best-Brake-Pedal-Extender-Cars/dp/B0198VE4YO

These may not be deep enough but this is the idea. https://www.ebay.com/p/Sunlite-Bicycle-Pedal-Blocks-1-5in-PL608BKH/1226259863?iid=153443600493&rt=nc

I considered adding to the peddles where they are located now, but was unsure how they would feel. The pivot point in relation to where the foot touches.

Maybe someone that has done this can chime in?

I like the setup in the amazon link...

Where is Hellion? I think PEDAL is the word you are looking for.

If all else fails I suggest buying those boots like those guys from the band KISS wore.

Those are good for an extra 6 inches easily!

Thanks, as you can tell, grammar was never my strong point...and if spell check doesn't catch it, I most likely won't either.

I think that pedal extenders from Amazon will not work on go kart pedals. They are made for pedals that are suspended from under the dashboard. My mother had them on her car.

OP- Ive seen a few gokarts that had a pedal setup like your describing... It was just that, an additional closer set linked with rods to the original....
I cant find a pic off hand, but pretty much self explanatory..

Edit: Here's an example....

As for the block idea from before. Back like 10 years ago my dad got a kart for us, none of us were able to reach so it had ~3 inch wood blocks. And more padding behind us. We could reach then and had fun.

Platform shoes, genius. :D

That's what she said! :funnypost: :smiley_omg: :lolgoku:

See, I knew you'd enjoy yourself with that.

One hand on the keyboard and one...

Buy the kids platform shoes or home build pedal extension...or just get another kid sized kart and the little rascals can have more fun chasing dad around the backyard!
