I'm new to the Yerf dogs, just borrowed a couple for my grand kids. We were riding for about 15 minutes and then one just shut down. Like you hit the cut off switch. Is there a sensor that will shut down the kart when it gets to hot? 15 minutes of easing driving shouldn't have made it shut down. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess would be a low oil shut off system but I'd wait till the professionals show up

That would be my first guess; tell me, was it cornering at the time? Could you start it back up straight away?
I also vote for low oil sensor. What type of engine does it have. Post a pic of the engine where the wires come out the engine block.
When it shut down, was it easy to start and continue riding again.

It's not so much the oil that's the problem, it's more the oil sensor; these engines are commonly referred to as "stationary engines" & weren't exactly designed to be bolted to go karts...
When you go around a corner, all the oil moves away from the sensor, killing the engine to prevent damage; simply disconnecting it will solve the problem but, you need to keep an eye on the oil level...
