Kart in the Weeds...REVEALED!!!!

OK. I went to look at it and offered $50. We negotiated to $85, tough negotiations. It is a Carter "Hot Bodies" kart. The motor runs and has electrics! Everything is there and should just need a good cleaning. I will have to buy 4 new tires and a TC belt. I get tires at dealer costs so that's not a big deal. I'm happy with this one!:rolleyes3:

I need to move back to the Midwest...

Right!

I just don't understand what could have happen? If I had that kart I would not just abandoned it in the weeds. Did the kids out grow it or what but just don't leave it, put the kart in the shed/garage or sell it. I just don't get people some times.

I have to ask...did you need your weed eater? :roflol:
LOL!!
No, but the weeds were really growing in & out of it!

Apparently he bought it and then got sick and decided to sell all his projects. He had a lot of them going on. He said he'd never get to this and it had to go.

I've got 8 karts in the garage now. I can't pass up a deal!:drool5:

OK, FB, here's what's in the garage...

1. Indy kart. Needs engine cover and a fix of the redneck hack job on the frame. Paid $100

2. Pepsi Challenger. Needs a paint job & seat. Everything else is nice. Bought it & now my brother wants it for his grandkids Christmas gift. He's thinking about adding the Indy kart, too. Paid $150

3. Two seater Yerf Dog. Needs a seat, frame break welded, roll bars & a tire. Paid $100

4. Manco Interceptor. Needs a rim straightened & a seat. Owner said it didn't run. Got it home and found out that he grounded the kill wire. Pulled it off and it started first pull. Paid $75

5. Manco Condor. Needed a-arm repair, a seat, a belt, a bearing & a rim. Paid $125

6. Streaker. Needed paint, seat, a tube and a TC belt. Has a 6.5 Honda electric start. I replaced the carb. Paid $100

7. Hot Bodies weed find! Don't know that it needs much. Haven't looked yet. Engine & electrics work. Paid $85

8. My avitar. Scratch built buggy/kart with a kawasaki 440

That's it for now. Did I mention, I love my wife!!!;)

Stop complaining, at least they're on the same continent :roflol:
We don't get anything like that here, at any price. Before I joined here, I'd never heard of Manco or Yerf Dog
