soo i was at a grad part for one of my friends and got talking with a guy, he said he had a gokart that doesn't run and has be sitting for 16ish years. i he showed me some pics of it on his phone and i was immediately interested bc i have seen this kart before but i don't remember what it was. he did not offer to sell it but he said he wanted to get it running and find out what it was. so if i can get and ID that would be great!

Need better pictures. No one wants to see {much less try to identify} a kart in a dimly lit shed surrounded by clutter, come on. 😢

That being said, it looks like a Rupp kart. A narrow hoop Dart A-Bone maybe.
Check the top of the torn seat for a logo there, which is conveniently not showing...

That roll bar looks jury rigged and not original of course.

that might be a Dart kart...
the rear axle hangers scream Rupp the narrow steering hoop suggests some later year (1965 ++)...
and the front axle support somehow tickle my Lancer senses..

the rollbar and stuff is what's ruining the view a bit (some PO addition I bet)

Then again it might be a Clark Cyclops that someone added the front axle support to ....hard to judge...
