We just bought our daughter this go kart and received it yesterday. She rode it around a little bit this morning, and it was working fine. She went to ride it this evening and it won't start. When the key is turned to on the gear indicator doesn't light up and it doesn't sound like it is trying to start. But with the key switched to on the head lights and turn signal work just fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Make sure it's in neutral. Maybe the shifter safety switch took a dump. You do have to push on the brake pedal to start it right? Mine is the same way. The electronic modules always seem to go bad!!

Don't apologize, I am still learning everything I need to with my 150-2. All I know is that it shows on the dash and I suspect the switch is in the shifter box. I doubt they run wires all the way from the transmission but anything is possible. I cannot start mine in drive or reverse ( for safety reasons of course). I like the fact that you have to hold the brake cause a lot of cars now have that. So you say it is brand spanking new? Something definitely wiggled loose and I cannot see anything just going bad like that. It still has a warranty. Have you tried contacting them in California? I will do some research and as always........... OOOOOOOOOOORAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! USMC RULES!!!!!!! :)
