I am new to this forum, needing the expertise that the members have. I'm working on an old Manco, roughly a 1982 era. Also have a Midwestern Industries that I cannot trace the serial number for and also have a kart that i have no idea of what it is...maybe someone can identify it.

Welcome to the forum. Nice old twin engine racer. At least that's what it looks like to me. With those huge sprockets probably was powered by 2 strokes.
You'll be busy for a while with 3 of them to work on.

Thanks, it keeps me out of trouble! Still trying to investigate the origin of the twin engine unit before i jump into that one. The 2 stroke theory is actually a pretty good one and makes sense. I'll have to hunt some info down on that.

Oh it’s not a theory. It was a 2 stroke since one would have to rotate backwards. It is probably early to mid 60’s race kart. I keep thinking Simplex, but I’m probably wrong.

I don't know enough to say you're incorrect, that's for sure! It has a square tube chassis which kind of throws me off. It came with no motors, it had to have the teardrop tank behind the seat. When I bought it, the guy (he's 92 years old) said that he sold a McCulloch engine that was on it long ago. I'd have no idea where to find a couple of those motors. If possible, I'm hoping to make it period correct.

I also need to find a rear indy wing for a Midwestern industries go kart I'm working on right now. If anyone may have one or where i can find one that would be appreciated. I've added a couple pictures if someone has a wing for it.
