unless governor is romved, everything changes, if the governors gone, just dont run it full throttle for an extended time, if you want to look into billet, if it still has the governor, its all diffrent when the engine is running, when the engines gravvity goes it closes the buttery fly to reduce rpm

this is why, most people take out there governors because of this, when the engine brings itself to max rpm with governor 3,600 rpm. it reduces its rpm to lengthen engine life, most of us have pulled that out of ours, its a pain in the ***, since i was a dare devil and never had a throttle hookup, i would just reach down once the governor closed and push it open with my finger, increasing rpm,

thats called bypassing the governor, the thing is leaving that inside your engine could come off and **** some **** up, why have it there if its not in use? if you plan to do that, i think its better to take it out, you can fab a linkage from governor parts, all you need is a drill, a hacksaw and some bolts, alot of members here will show you how

when I am pulling the throttle then move the govener arm it gets a lot more rpm ...

Yes- because you're defeating the governor. The governor is there to prevent the engine from over-revving. When you move the governor arm, you're over-revving the engine.

Do you have a tachometer? You are running the engine OFF the kart and complaining about NOT reaching "high RPM".Your engine is set to max out at 3600, and your probably ARE hitting 3600, might not seem like it to you. Be sure first.
