Just got a scorpion 606...

Hi all,
Been googling info and this site popped up constantly so i joined up. Got cart for cheap was ran years ago long and hard. So I took carb apart cleaned it good got it to start right up runs well!! Just need some parts like exhaust header, intake etc... Highly interested in playing with this kart. Anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly thank you. Tons of info here greatful for that already.

I assume you have a 1946 triple cylinder Norton engine,

Okay honestly,

I know the Manco 606-C14 (aka Scorpion) but who said it's still the original engine
(that'd be a Robin 6.5 OHC with coil btw Manco 12250)

yea luckily its the robin. Cleaned carb then put gas in it cranked easily, only problem know is rust in the gas tank, had to re-clean carb full of rust!! What do you guys use to clean out the tanks? Got a good portion out but not alot. Gonna fab an intake next..Had to make some seats might paint it next also, gotta check governor too....
