Just finished this utility vehicle. 13 HP electric start. Top speed 15.4 mph. Cut axle in 2 for one wheel drive. Parking brake is the red red thing on the lower left of the driver's seat. I am including pictures but as this is my 2nd post I hope they come across. Not sure I know what I am doing. We have hills but the traction is not too bad. With the split axle the thing turns on a dime. Hope you enjoy.

You should invest in a deferential instead of 1wd. It would be a good improvement.

I thought you meant you thought it had 1wd, sorry.

It's got a live axle.

I was referring to this. Sorry, I missed his comment. I wouldn't want 1wd on an off road utility vehicle. A limited diff at most, but off road conditions should allow enough slip that you don't need a diff/1wd.

That is so cool. What is it geared to?
I am not sure of the overall gear ratio. I will have to figure that out. I know it will do a top speed of 15.4 mph at 3700 rpm and 22" tires with a comet 40 series (which I am having trouble with it sticking). I put in that extra jack shaft to get the thing geared down...I wanted hill climbing power not top speed.

thanks! I started with only one set of shocks but it was much too soft so it I added the 2nd set.

Did you build the front A-arms or buy them? I am looking to add front suspension on a project of mine and those look like they would work perfect.
