She runs strong. 40.62 top speed. Pretty proud of this one. Sorry I didn't take any before pics, but it was pretty rough. Took me around 20 hours total to complete.

Some of us have sandblasters and paint guns, 20 hours (I'm talking labor hours) goes a long way with the right tools.

I second the video request. Don't be a slacker ;)

It was all hand work. Had alot of tedious sticker removal and goo gone lol. This thing was loaded with hideous stickers. It might not have been 20 hours. That's just a guess. I had 2 days of around 6 hours a piece and a few days with an hour or 2. Im a perfectionist and I work slow lol. I'll grab a video over Thanksgiving.

Nothing much. I did have to cut off a huge bulky unnecessary lift plate added to the motor mount. Brought the engine down about 4.5 inches. It appeared that the previous owner had a belt that was too long and added the additional liftime to accommodate the belt. Stripped down and checked all welds. Strong kart. Little light in the front end. Thinking about adding some weight to the front.

I've got a Manco kart in the "resto-garage" but it has been stalled by sticker residue. One of those large Manco floor pan decals came up fairly well with a heat gun but it left behind lots of "sticky".

I tried a little Goo Gone but it just seemed to smear it around. What precise methods did you use?

That's a 606 frame right? Would you know what teeth are on the sprockets?

Once i got the sticker off, i soaked the area in goo gone for about 15 minutes then took a strong puddy knife and slowly pushed across the area with lots of pressure.

Yes, its a 606. 60 tooth sprocket from the factory.

I plan on playing with the gearing a bit to get it too 50 mph.

Great job, and good color, i have two of these, one with a predator 212 nicely massaged, and the other with the predator 420cc with intake and exhaust, jetting i have a stroker kit but haven't installed yet on the 420.

I am getting ready to put a 420 on my single seater dingo 285. Whats your top speed? How is the torque?

I've clocked it in at 52 mph on the straights with a slight down grade via gps, things got a little scary at those speed for something like this. of course you need to do the governor removal and aftermarket flywheel or you'll grenade the engine, performance carb, intake and exhaust, jetting and valve work.
