I'm from Pacific Palisades Ca, and just finished welding together a viper ss xl kit from mxk.com. Full independent front suspension, with rear linked suspension, 6.5 lifan engine, 90T sprocket with maxtorque ss clutch, hydraulic disc brake. Had a lot of fun building, but man was it a ***** sometimes. Upgrading to a maxtorque draggin' skin clutch and doing a natural gas conversion to the engine.

I actually set up my helmet cam to take periodic pictures of the whole build process. Have only had 4 test drives, 3 of which ended in catastrophic failures haha. First time lost the front a arm assemby, then the opposite front axle weld broke, and finally clutch fell off. I had to grind and reweld the whole assembly

You may want to go back and check ALL of your welds. A single failure isn't always an isolated issue. An extra week in the shop is worth preventing a truly catastrophic failure IMO. Sorry to go all safety troll on you here.
