At my 10 year old son request I bought him not one but 2 go karts for his 10th birthday. both karts have been sitting for 8 or so years. I bought them off a friend of a friend. one is a lime green 2 seater says cyclone II. it appears to have a broken weld at the bracket that takes the sprocket from the clutch and bumps it to the sprocket at the wheel.

I have also removed the tank and planning on a carb rebuild... or should I just buy a new carb? I have confirmed I have a good spark.

The other one is a single seater with a brigs and Stratton 5 hp the frame says carter brothers manufacturing. this one has the rod / cable missing from the brake pedal and I can't seem to figure out how the brake rod / cable connected to the band brake.....

thanks in advance!

On the green one. Just because it is a Techumseh and they are finnicky Carbs I would buy one.

The Super wheels Show a pic of the remaining brake parts.
Should be a simple fix. but there are 2 or 3 ways it could have been done.

As I don't see anything that resembles an intro, I'm moving this the the general discussion section...
