Rotor, I did not use any offensive terms, understand there is a reason I said that living in Houston, the majority of lawn crews 99% are Mexican, not just hispanic. These men are literal Mexicans, Mexican citizens who work in our country, these are not El Salvadorians, Hondurans, Cubans, etc. These are Mexicans and proud of the fact that they are Mexicans, I know many of them and understand that fact. They're good people with hot daughters and great food, but I assure you, they are Mexicans.

I'm happy there are young people still willing to work. I'm still trying to hire qualified ADULT help at my business.

Some words of advice: Dress nice, be confident when you apply. Speak up, have good posture, look them in the eye, give a firm handshake. Try to sound like you know what your talking about. don't say "um" and "yeah." Yes sir and no sir go a long way. Make a resume, if you have no work experience use applicable personal/school experience. SMILE. Notice things about the job and comment on them or ask intelligent questions. Talk money last.

You do these and I Gaurantee you'll stand out above 90% of applicants of all ages now days.

I'm not kidding...it's a pretty sad labor pool out there!

I have to agree with the above post. I think I'm horrible with people, the thought goes to the back of my head anytime I go in town to buy something.
