Im moving to puerto rico by the end of NeXT septemeber and am kinda worried about work so i had an idea but dont know if it would work well.

My wife gave me the idea of doing home auto repair, tune-ups, brakes and such. By home i mea. A mechanic that travels to you.

So what do you guys think and what would be another good way to make some money on the side?

I've done that. Helps people out and helps you out in the process. If you're really handy, even some appliance repair. A big thing that most people never think about but needs to be done is dryer vent cleaning. Stuff can accumulate in there like crazy and can be a fire hazard. Not only that but a clean dryer vent allows the dryer to work more efficiently.

Sounds like a good idea man people are lazy and dont like driving to the mechanics, just be careful about how much gass you will be spending to get to there house to do something.

I'm not sure what scrap metal goes for down there, but like someone else suggested in another thread, drive around on trash day and pick up anything metal you find and cash it in.
