Alright...here's a new one. A coworker of mine has a '72 Gran Torino that has a 315w that he dropped in it in the early 80s that his grandfather supposedly converted to run jet fuel and claims no modifications were made. So naturally I have a few questions.

A) How the **** would one go about doing that?
B) Why the **** would one want to go about doing that
C) WHY WOULD YOU PAY TO DO THAT?

He just got old and confused...it wasn't the car running on jet fuel, and it wasn't jet fuel....but somebody was burning up some alcohol!

Seriously, though...."jet" fuel? Aviation fuel is used by many drag racers....and its basically just high octane gasoline....

And as far as jet fuel....you can run an internal combustion engine on anything flammable....how well is another matter....

Jet fuel... WHAT jet?

airliner? (kerosene) BULLSHIRTS (not even orange ones) even less octane than your regular fuel
pulse jet (basically any flammable gas like propane) okay.. without mods impossible though
and even less so for custom taylored jet fuels providing their own oxygen source like Nitromethane and such (fighter jets run such expensive mixes at times)

So yeah... have it run on cow farts (methane.. that's actually possible ;))
and you'll win on the coolness factor (not on odor though :lolgoku:)
