lol thats awsome but if you really want to own find a 2 stroke 85 cc engine that would make a small kart go over 60

what gear ratio are you running? 6:1 is good for getting you started, but will top @20mph on a stock governed engine. if you are light enough or don't mind pushing off to get going you could gear for 5:1 or maybe 4:1. without the push off, you may burn up your clutch.

Welcome to DIY Jeremy. You'll find the most common mods for higher top speeds will be removing the Governor, installing a Header, race type Air cleaner, re-jetting the Carb and installing higher revving Valve springs.

This site: http://www.affordablegokarts.com/ is a pretty good place to get your speed parts and they also have tons of really good info posted about these (and many other) performance mods you could research.

Here's a link to a gearing calculator you could use to figure out your top speeds: http://www.diygokarts.com/speed-calculator.html
(just remember that gearing for a higher top speed will reduce your acceleration and put more stress on your clutch while its slipping longer on take-offs)

PS:
A stock 6.5hp clone will spin up to a 3600rpm max.

Removing the Governor, installing the header, race type air cleaner and re-jetting is supposed to increase you RPM's to somewhere around 5200. Many guys just do these mods and are pretty happy with the results...

At that point Installing the race type valve springs would increase you max rpm (and top-speed) a good bit further before your valves start to float.
