This Jeep is made in Finland. About half scale with Chinese 50cc ATV engine.

That was awesome. I wonder if that was filmed with an 8mm camera. It was so old and grainy, it was like watching old MASH outtakes or something.

Btw, Bando, you get my vote for Most Awesome Kart of the Decade. The level of detail this kart has is phenominal.

Thank you danssoslow. I still need to install wiper arms, mirrors, speedometer, rear gas tank, wiring harness for lights, windshield hinges, hood latchs. And then, a set of 12" golf car rims with all terrain tires.

While I was peeping your build, I was thinking how cool it would be to mount a small Jerry Can on the back. I'm assuming that's what you mean when you say rear gas tank.

Do you have some rims in mind already? There's definitely no shortage of styles on ebay; some are pretty blinged out!

Looking forward to seeing how you complete the rest of the kart. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be blown away.

I missed this thread as well and just now found it. When Bando first posted a picture of another one.I said I was going to have to build one. It's just going to be awhile.

I want to put the original gas tank behind the rear axle to fill it through the hole below the right taillight.

I saw some models of rims on ebay, but at this time I don't want too spend too much money in the mini jeep. They cost about $600.00 and this Jeep is draining my wallet. That's the reason of why too much time to build it. Each modification cost too much money and there are more important things. I think I've spent about $4,000 plus $400 for the trailer from Feb 2011 to date. I hope not to think about build it 4x4.:roflol:

$600? For a Jerry Can?

If I can find you a smaller scale Jerry Can for less than $100 (a lot less, I'll promise); would you consider actually plumbing the can and using it as your gas tank?

You say yes, and I will tear this world apart to find you one!!!

Ok. I'm afraid I won't be able to find you a cheap pair of those rims. That's not to say that I don't know people that COULD find you those types of rims on the cheap; but I'll elect not to go down that road. :p

They probably aren't cheap either; but do you happen to like these wheels?

I seen these on a lawn tractor at Lowe's and thought about your Jeep.

That's the kind of LOVE I have for some of your alls' projects here. I think about you all like family. :D
