New to the site but need help with trying to put a Honda clone engine in an old golf cart. I will not have reverse but plan to run off a jack shaft to torque converters. The EZ GO had a 9hp two cycle. Will a Honda GX200 clone with a few modifications produce enough hp to run the cart? I'm talking about new air intake, remove governor, and add header & 18 lb. valve springs. Thanks

You may need an extreme jack-shaft set-up or a torque converter to compensate for tire size.
