So long story short, I took an old eton dxl 90 and gutted it down to bare frame, slapped a 212 ghost in it and stretched the back end out 4-6inches, skinny 13 inch tires in the front and “18” inch golf cart tires in the back that really measure 16.5”. I’m really only riding on blacktop as I live in town. I have to use a jack shaft to cross the drive line over to the opposite side of the drive shaft on the motor because that’s where Eton put the axle sprocket.
I had a 30 series TC but I’ve never played around with that many variables before and smoked my belt lol so now I have a 10t clutch, to 48t JS-in to 15t JS-out to 28t axle. I’d like to only change JS gears but if i absolutely have to change the back sprocket I will.( 15t and 25t were factory) or if it would be better just to go back to the 30 series TC? Either way what would be the best gear set up?
p.s. I forgot to mention I want more top speed but still have decent acceleration. Any suggestions/ advice/ info would be greatly appreciated!
