Yea, or nay?
I placed my first order with them over a week ago.
My card was charged quickly.
The parts still haven't shipped. They're supposedly waiting for the parts from the manufacturer.

I could have ordered from the manufacturer too I suppose.

It just doesn't sit right with me.

The reviews I read are of the same as your story. Slow service and bad customer service.

I think the issue is.. it's indeed Jack's "small" engines shop
(small shop as wel as small engines) with the one man army Jack taking care of everything.

At least that's what I heard...
and if that's correct.. I'd give him some slack tbh.
it's understandable that he cannot shelf every part in his own shed, so he has to rely on getting them for you, that takes a bit of time (and money).
So yeah, it's inconvenient.. but think of it as the shop around the corner perhaps

Fortunately I'm not in a major rush for the parts. I don't recall being told (online) that the major part I was after wasn't in stock. It's also possible that I missed it.

It's a patience issue that I've never been able to reconcile with myself when it comes to sending off for things.

I'll take it yesterday please.

Well I ordered 2 pks of squash seeds and a pk of tomato seed that was supposed to have a delivery window ending on the 2nd.

I'm getting a bit frustrated. It's not like I'm in a hurry, probably over a month before I need the squash seeds and next year before I start the tomatoes, but I like to get what I pay for.

BTW: They sent me a catalog, it got here just fine!!!!

I did 5 or 6plants of 4 or 5 squash varieties last year. Then had an out break of that darn squash beetle. The got all but the first 2 harvests.

Any suggestions?

The rabbits got to my okra and the tomatoes just didn't produce.

I try to garden but it seems like I can grow goat heads better than anything.

What they hey....we're all just a bunch of HighjACKERS here anyway! Squash bugs aren't that bad, hose down the plants and come back in a few minutes. They'll all be out sunning themselves so you can " harvest" them. Turn over the leaves and look for the eggs. With just a little diligence, you can eradicate those bestages.

Squash vine bores, however, are a real BBJoe in the rear! They say to put Vicks Vaporub on the bases when the plants are young, but I never seem to do it.

I have another idea. 1/4" to 1/2" hardware cloth cages. My thinking is, the bees can come in and out and pollinate the squash, but the moths won't be able to.

That's one thing that irritates me to no end. If I buy something and pay for a certain shipping I expect it to be shipped by the next business day.
I just bought a cam from small engine cams..... Well I paid for it on Friday. Got a paypal receipt and everything instantly of course.
Saturday comes and goes, sunday, then finally Monday night I see that a shipping label was created.......
Fast forward to Wednesday night at like midnight I see an update that they are awaiting the package for shipment.
Luckily this morning I finally see that it's made it to the usps facility and finally on its way.

Now I know running a small business and handling orders is a task but man I can't stand waiting.........

okay even worse i check online and they don't expect parts into there warehouse until 2/23/17!!!

I already ordered another one from MFG supply for like $1 more. I kind of need two of them anyways, so i may just wait and see who delivers first I do need one now so i can check my design of this steering thingamabob. it's delaying progress!!!

I take it Jack does jack squat. Take order from us then order from china and have them ship with jacks name on it. standard outsourcing process.

Well...what i meant is, if MFG supply delivers before jacks. Then i will cancel jacks and order one more from MFG supply. So the race is on. I should call them both and say whoever gives it to me first i'm canceling the others order!

They probably both order from same place. China! and Chinese new years just ended Monday. So probably everyone has been on vacation. That's why it's taking forever!
