I have a Yerf dog 3203 and was wondering if I could take out the jackshaft plate and have it milled to get a little adjustment is this a good idea ?

Well I bought a new belt when I first got it and it was tighter than the old belt and now it's very slack , I cleaned the driver clutch and no help , cart still jerks in takeoff , it did this when I first got the cart with the old belt and I put the new on it quit for a few days and then it started doing it again , I am going to order new guts for my driver clutch but I was just figuring I can have this done pretty easily to so I can keep using the older belts

I have the same kart, 3203 I drilled new holes in the jackshaft mounting plate just in front of the factory holes. The new replacement belt was to loose and the kart seemed slower. So I drilled the new holes (not slots didn't want any slipage) and it works just fine.
