So I welded up some tuning plates for this guy's bbq smoker. His wife couldn't lift the lid though because its so heavy. I welded on two old railroad plates to some square tubing to make a counterweight.

Besides looking totally ridiculous (like a giant spoiler on a dodge neon). It actually worked really well. haha
