Saw on the morning news that is so cold in Florida that it stuns iguanas, causing them to fall out of trees.

They're calling it LIZARD conditions. Well at least one nutty weather guy is.

Another round of cold butt weather headed this way. I got 2 eggs. Fortunately, a Hispanic family a few doors down is illegally keeping chickens, so maybe they'll sell me some eggs.

My truck is illegal ATM.

What does a legal chicken look like? I have 10 chickens that the government doesn't know about. Are they illegal?

Send them to me. I will pluck, clean, and cook them, then get back to you.

BTW:The illegals have razor blade anklets.

Gee, I hope DACA doesn't affect them. Duh, what am I thinkin', them chickens are probably natural born Merican chickens.

Yeah, but who knows where the eggs come from?

Oh yeah, mama chickens, nevermind.

The chickens are illegal because it's against Chitty Ordinance to keep them, otherwise, I'd have a whole flock of them.

I think we're required to have a minimum of 2 acres to have chickens. I don't, but I do.

Also we have snowmageddon part II here in Atlanta this morning.

Nothing beats farm fresh, but around here eggs are under a $1 a dozen. $4.50/ 5 dozen. Milk prices are going back up. Was $.94/ gallon for a few months, now $1.25.

In Michigan, people complain about the weather, but for the most part we're prepared. It must be horrible down south. Probably don't have a fleet of plow/ salt trucks running. Maybe crushed salted peanut shells? Boiled?

Seems like lately they spread whatever salt they have at the 1st threat of snow/ice, then when it actually happens (like today) they aren't prepared at all. I was driving on 1/2 inch of compressed snow on the interstate, which is unheard of down here for the most part. Thankfully, most people who don't know how to drive on it stay home.

Of course, that's the government for you ;)

I didn't have to drive today anywhere, heard lots of spinning in the subdivision though! Got the go cart out (that's a whole different story/thread lol) so that was fun!

Be safe

We're supposed to be in the 40's for the next few days. Rain, but at least some snow melting.

You should get in touch with one of the Australian fellows. Shipping would be higher but it's more concentrated heat. I would say more BTU's for your buck, don't know what metric heating and cooling units are. Joules, calories?

British Thermal Units are pretty close to Australian Thermal Units, but the exchange rate is better if you buy ATUs with USDs, then if you bought BTUs with AUDs. I tried PCP, now I see UFOs, call the CPD or CFD because I need the ICU or an MGD.
