Comet 30 clone CVT with a juggernaut primary driver, yellow spring on secondary
I have been testing out this bike since I got it, ran stock engine with governor pulled and untouched cvt and was able to get up to 65kmh with a 10t/50t combo at 4000 rpm.
Changed the connecting rod, valve springs, flywheel, camshaft, exhaust, carb, juggernaut and yellow spring, 8t drive and was only getting 65kmph at 5700rpm.
Tried with a 60t rear sprocket and was getting up to 70kmph at 6000rpm and started moving my yellow spring and was getting 70kmh at 6200rpm for 2nd hole, 6400rpm 3rd hole, 6700rpm 4th hole all at the same speed with 0 speed increase.
The engine will turn almost 8000rpm on the stand too.
I also changed the stock chinese bearings to some koyo bearings, new good quality chain and am running a fuel pump for the carb. I also weigh around 170lbs.
Now why does the bike only barely go any faster than stock? This should be stage 3 and pulling atleast twice the stock hp, I should be able to do double stock rpm, and running more than stock gear ratio with the 8t/60t. I just dont understand why the engine wont rev higher than it is to reach its peak hp at 7000rpm and why I am not reaching any faster speeds.
Anyone would have any ideas or suggestions of what I should do?
