Getting nowhere fast. No one has any idea what brand of kart that is. One downfall of Brand X Chinese karts.

Engine ID in one of the pictures of the powersportsmax listing. Maybe that's where yours is.

Anyone know what these two things are/do?

The black rubber and metal piece was in the bottom of the stator housing.

Once you identify which engine you have you could then look at a parts diagram. See if this vendor can help you.
