Do you want suspension? The SpiderCarts Arachnid is filled with errors so you'll have to do your reading up on here if you want to get it working right. I know their BlackWidow plans used to be free, but I guess they aren't any longer?

Have we ever pointed that out to SpiderCarts that the Arachnid is flawed?

The Black Widow is what I have and the frame can be made entirely from the provided photos because the plans are little help beyond the frame. If you go with it, make the main piece at least 70" to make it more roomy.

It looks like a good starting point. I'd have to beef it up a tad bit though. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll talk to my buddy who makes modified (dirt track racing) cars and see what he can do pricewise.

Unfortunately, that ad is indicative of the typical kart pricing in Canada. If found a few decent deals lately (go figure, all my cash is tied up right now), but I've said it a million times- I'm dead jealous of the deals you guys get in the States. Especially Bighead, and the absolute f-king horseshoe up his hoop re: Ody's!

I think that designing your own or restoring one in poor shape is the best, cheapest option for you.

Nah it's not sold. Ive been emailing the owner. Got em down to $400. That's about as low as they will go. It's a 5.5hp manco. I think it's worth it.
