Being a kart racer, yup again. The parts to build a rear axle on that is near 500 bucks new. Heck, the motor is worth that. IMO.

It looks like the front nerfbar mount is the modern 90-degree angle desighn, so that means It was prolly made after the year 2000. (thats a good thing)
It's frame design kinda reminds me of a "Wright" brand chassis made in the UK. Those are awesome karts. Did he say what brand it is? (a Wright brand kart will usually say S.W.R.D. on several of the parts)
I was also wondering what brand/model engine it has? (ask him...)
I see a kart-starter sitting on the seat in your pic, does that come with the kart too?
Do you intend to race it at a track, or just ride around for fun?
