Is this the right rim size for this tire?

It's a yerf dog 3203 buggy. The rear wheel was so rusted that a seven ton puller wasn't even close to getting it off the axle. I had to cut it off with a torch.

long story short, the tire is in good shape, so I just need a rim. I ordered an 8"X7" rim with a 1" bore from gopowersports.com. The tire is a 20X8x8. I didn't see any 8x8 rims anywhere so I took a chance that the tire will fit the 8x7.

Did I make a mistake? Here is a link to the rim I ordered:

Should be fine. It reads like this.

20" tall tire
8" wide tire
8" tall rim

So I think that should work just fine.

actually it will be perfect.

The bottom line is the tire will bulge 1/2in each side of the rim.....This is a normal thing and will look correct.
