I figure i would use this welder to build mini choppers and go karts and things of that nature... let me know what you think about this one and if it will work for me?

remove the scale (if there is) on the weld and yes just weld as many beads you want ... just make sure to clean the beads between passes

Grind it down and start over.

Do you stack your clean clothes on top of nasty skidmarked underwear?

I have the 220v version of that welder and it's very nice. Some people don't want to buy a 220v because most don't have an outlet in their garage.

I made an extension cord and use the outlet for my dryer.

thanks alot guys.... one more question what is scale?? thanks in advance

Millscale is a shiny, bluish iron oxide often present on the surface of the steel. It is produced by heat
and pressure during manufacture. Millscale is often mistaken for a blue-toned shop primer or clean
steel. Millscale is very difficult to remove by hand and must be completely removed during surface
preparation for long-term corrosion protection. The presence of millscale is responsible for a significant
proportion of coating failures and thus must never be painted over.

if you want to make a better weld, ask your friend, process of padding or layering welds. mig will make a nice weld so not too worry. make little circles and move at once and a clean weld will be supplied.
