I saw this on Marketplace and it's 300 but I'm not sure if it's a good deal

If the engine runs and it can drive itself around would be a good start. Maybe 200. If engine doesn't run and there's parts missing from the drive train or steering than I'd say maybe 100.
I'd inspect the frame for cobbled welds and such.
It's Much easier to start with a solid frame than somebody's mess.

heres a link to it with some more photos but it does look homemade so i dont really want it if it is

Body work made of building materials, frame home grown. I wouldn't pay more than $200, and I wouldn't pay that anyway.
