Have you ever tried to build build something out scraps cut up from something else?
After cutting that up you will find you have a bunch of useless scrap. Sure you may use a length here or there but for the most part none of those bends, angles, or pieces will fit. I take pride in my scrounging skills, i can see parts where others just see junk. That said, l wouldn't try what yer proposing. Fix that up and sell it, use the funds to build what ya want. If that is chinese it may yeild even less. Often chinese karts use materials that may be non standard size and processes as to make unusable.

For $125 that is decent deal. But you need to listen to Master Hack. You could build a roll cage a LOT EASIER than you could build a kart chassis. Go buy a new predator engine for $150, and for a little more than $400 you can have yourself a good driving kart. Use it as is.
