Is my subaru and tc broken? How and why?

First off. Torque converter, not surprised it doesn't have a bushing. And have you tried to run it without the bushing. Because maybe it came that way for a reason.

First of all this forum is all over the world. Wanting the correct answer and a response within the same day isn’t gonna happen. A lot of people on here have other stuff going on and are only on here once a week or more if we’re lucky.

Second of all if the governor is pulsing the carburetor needs cleaning. Is where I would start first. That means sometimes the air and fuel ratios are off and the governor is trying to compensate for something or the lack of.

If your engine is hunting then it is more than likely your carb.

And I don't look at youtube vids cos they are just too slow to load on the PC I'm using here at work
