is it worth 60?

well someone i found on craigslist offered me this engine for 60 bucks, im currently trying to talk him down to 40, is it worth it? this is for my mini bike

just old. but it looks taken care of.

who knows if its past its "useable" life span yet. who knows how many hours it has.

It looks likes it's been taken care of and loved, and Tecumseh are old and past there life span put some people know how to make them tick again

u know that is a 5hp briggs lol. not tecumseh.

imagine if a clone could last that long. i mean they havent gotten much test of time yet. but my hensim clone gets beat on. and still starts first pull and runs perfect.

puurs like a kitten.

Yep thats why I say branded engines. Powr kraft was big time seller at wards. I still have old saw and sanders made by powr kraft running strong. Back in the day. It was the best for home users. They made everything from hand tool to tillers and so on.

Basicaly Power Kraft was the Sears Craftsman of that time. I have a power kraft tiller. It way over built and well made.

It might be an alright deal if:

It starts and runs,
doesn't burn oil/smoke,
doesn't leak/sling oil out of the output shaft seal,
and if it has a non-tapered output shaft with a keyway.
