hello, i want to make a project for about 1,000$ not more to make my bike witch it a chopper like this

i want to know if i can get the parts to make it run for about 25-27miles and go at speed's of 20-30KPM and charge it with a portable solar charger for wen i don't have a plug and i needit to charge within 6-7H for a full charge

this project is for wen i got to go to school and wen i want to go see my friends i live in a nother town so it will be high way mills on it lol so can sum one help me ??

have you ever thought gas motors? they have conversion kits for bikes around 150-200$ and they make great gas mileage and about 25mph. you have to fill up with mixed gas i believe but its not hard to mix two stroke http://www.kingsmotorbikes.com/

I would pick up a similar bike new from Walmart.com and put in the HF 99cc motor straight gas motor. I'd say around $400-500 should do it. I found an identical bike to that one on craigslist last month for about $30. I should of got it but was building my scooter at the time so I didn't. I regret it now.

I have the 99cc and love it. With a $3 muffler from Menards its pretty quite. There's a certain rpm range on this motor you barely hear it running during riding.

hmm thanks seam fun the the prices of gas were I'm at is a bit high this is y i wanted to go electric il check it out more for the gas engine and thanks for the help

Is it not illegal to have a 99cc engine on a bicycle?? Where do you ride it

in ontario and i look at the gas motor it look easy but i want a chalange so im debating out of electric and gas. yes gas i can go road time on it but i wont save $ compare electric so idk yet

Thinking that gas will get you FARTHER than a electric I would think its a better investment for a gas. 100+mpg. Lets say your electric ride have 1/2 battery charge left before it needs recharge again and your friend calls and you wanted to go hang out. That 1/2 charge battery life may not be enough for you to get around and back and of course, you wouldn't wait 6-8hrs for it to charge before you go. For a gas, just fill it up and go.

but than in the end its still your personal liking. I rode my electric scooter frame with a 99cc by a cop w/o getting pulled over so I guess its fine. It's not loud and huge so I'm sure most cops would just think its a weed wacker motor or 49cc motor. As far as I know, under 50cc is legal here(if I remember correctly). I'm from Minnesota.

Some guy on youtube even use the 212cc on his bicycle and drove pass a cop w/o getting pull over. What I usually do if I drive by a cop is twist down my throttle, if I'm on my scooter, or pretend to pedal if my by is motorized. Its less noticeable.
